This publication accompanies the exhibition Lothar Götz, Pool at the Holden Gallery. Lothar Götz is a painter responding to site, space and colour. His work spans from drawings and paintings to large scale interventions on interior and exterior walls of buildings. Götz is known for his use of abstract geometric forms and abundance of colour, responding to a space by its architectural characteristics and features. For the Holden Gallery, he has completed a newly commissioned, site specific wall painting across the full interior walls of the gallery, titled Pool. This accompanying publication includes an interview between Lothar Götz and Zoe Watson, curator of the Holden Gallery.
