The Returning Soldier Network invites you to attend “‘Demobbed’: The Social, Cultural, Political, and Economic Legacies of Military Service”, our upcoming conference examining military veterans’ experiences in the post-service landscape. This two day, in-person event aims to explore the aftermaths of conflict, and its effects on veteran lives, wellbeing, and identities.

Keynote speakers: Professor Simon Wessely (King’s Centre for Military Health Research) and Professor Angela Wanhalla (University of Otago, New Zealand).
Conference Tickets: Please choose one of the conference tickets below. Following ticket options are available:
- Standard 2-Day Conference Registration - £180
- Subsidised 2-Day Registration (PG attendee/MMU staff only) - £120
- 1-Day Registration - £100
- Conference Dinner - £65 (Select conference ticket + DINNER option when choosing your conference tickets)
Conference dinner: The conference dinner will be held at the Hyatt Regency Manchester (55 Booth St West, M15 6PQ) from 6:15pm on Friday 30 May. This will be a 3-course meal, with a choice of dishes including vegetarian/vegan option. Tickets are £65 and can be purchased via the eStore, alongside conference tickets. Please specify any dietary requirements you may have.
